Company Profile

The spring of 2002 we bought the lot on the corner of 6th Street and Main Ave in Sundre, Alberta.

We formed a small company only to build and operate this building.

We, the founders, spanned three generations:

	Grandfather- Edward C Pekse
	Father – John R Pekse
	Daughter / granddaughter – Valerie L Burrell (nee Pekse) CA

During the fall and early winter the building was built by Brian Evans construction.

Upon completion of the building on February 15, 2003, Valerie occupied the top floor with her accounting firm.

Valerie L. Burrell Professional Corporation moved into Bay 201 .
Dr. James Holmes, an optometrist, moved into Bay 102 on April 15, 2003.
Wish Upon a Star, owned and operated by Dianne Crouch and Tessa Falt, moved into Bay 101 on February 16, 2004.

Dr. James Holmes sold his practice to Dr. Margaret Penny who took over the optometrist practice as Sundre Vision Care on December 1, 2005.

Wish Upon a Star was purchased by Brenda and Jane Mueller on June 1, 2009. Subsequently, late in 2011, Brenda Mueller became the sole owner of the business.

Edward C Pekse passed away July 10, 2010 at the ripe old age of 95 years leaving his Corner Brook interest to his daughter Linda J Hudson (nee Pekse).
